Tender moments was inspired by my son’s first “best friend”, Willow and her mother, a young with-it mom who is one of the most naturally loving mothers that I have ever met.

 

Well-read and extremely intelligent, yet never too busy for her daughter, she formed the kind of relationship that we all crave to have with our children.

 

This sculpture is about that universally desired bond.
